Founded in 1890, RSPCA Shropshire is an independently registered charity dedicated to animal welfare across Shropshire. Although affiliated with the main RSPCA, our branch operates separately, relying on the generosity of public donations to fund our work.
Our dedicated team (predominantly made up of volunteers) ensures that every contribution directly benefits the hundreds of animals we care for each year. Many of these animals have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or injured, while others come to us after changes in their owners' circumstances, such as a death in the family.
Our branch is entirely responsible for raising the funds needed to support our mission. Through local events, donations, legacies, and with the help of dedicated volunteers, we work tirelessly to provide care and a second chance for animals in need across Shropshire and beyond.
Our vision is for a world where all animals are respected and treated with kindness and compassion.
Our mission is to make sure that all animals have a good life by rescuing and caring for those in need, speaking on behalf of all animals and inspiring everyone to treat them with compassion and respect.
